COMPANION MINISTRYIf you or a loved one is homebound or isolated and would like to remain connected to the parish, we have a companion ministry that pairs parishioners who are isolated with another active member of the parish. This relationship keeps one connected to the faith community through regular phone contact or visits. If you would like to receive or be a companion, please contact the parish office at 317-846-3850.

MARRIAGE

ANNULMENTAn annulment is a declaration by a Church tribunal that a marriage thought to be valid according to Church law actually fell short of at least one of the essential elements required for a binding union. The process can be very healing but it takes time to work through. Our parish understands the complexity of divorce and encourages those who have been divorced and cannot be reconciled to their former spouse to pursue an annulment. Our clergy themselves, or through trusted parishioners acting as advocates, are available to assist those seeking a declaration of nullity of a former marriage. Our advocates provide emotional support, information, and assistance throughout the process. These Annulment FAQs explain who needs an annulment, the process, and its effects. STRUGGLING MARRIAGESOngoing marriage enrichment is essential for couples to grow in virtue and to cherish the gift that they are to one another. Married life is enhanced and enriched through the years by the faithful, fruitful gift that the spouses make to one another day by day.The Third Option is a marriage support/enrichment ministry offered through the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana. It's a weekly small-group program for married couples (or individual spouses — you can attend with or without your spouse) working through difficulties in their marriage.

DEATH IN THE FAMILYThe death of someone we love changes our lives forever. And the movement from “before” to “after” is almost always a long, painful journey. For healing to take place, we must journey through the grief. We are available to meet with you and to provide you with support and comfort throughout this time. DEALING WITH A LOSS OF JOBTransitions are sometimes chosen and other times inflicted upon us. If you have recently lost a job and find yourself in an “in-between” place, struggling and in need of guidance to help you discern or process this transition, we can offer you a listening ear and accompany you through this change. HEALTH MINISTRYThis ministry connects faith and wellness — pairing health professionals and parishioners to support the whole person (body, mind, and spirit) through every stage of a health journey, not just during a crisis. Through assessments, screenings, and one-on-one support, the ministry helps parishioners integrate their faith into their health goals and care for one another as a community. 317-846-3850 to learn more.

MINISTRY TO THE HOMEBOUNDIf you would like to have Communion brought to your home or the home of a family member who is not able to attend Mass, please call 317.846.3850. Receiving the Eucharist provides strength and healing for one dealing with health issues. This sacrament of love brings one in communion with God and provides the Bread of life for nourishment.

HOSPITAL VISITS If a loved one is in the hospital and would like a visit from our Pastoral Care Ministry, please notify the parish office at 317-846-3850 so that a Pastoral Care minister or staff minister from the parish can reach out to your loved one during hospitalization. Due to the Patient Privacy Act, hospitals cannot contact the parish when parishioners are hospitalized.

Finding Peace In Grief
Group meets: 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the Month, 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm, Ministry Room B108 You are warmly invited to join us for the Finding Peace in Grief Peer Support Group. Our group provides a safe and confidential space for those who have lost a loved one to find encouragement and healing through shared discussion and fellowship. Our focus is on Catholic beliefs, however, you and your loved one do not need to be Catholic to attend. All are invited to join us in this ongoing group. Registration is encouraged but not required.
